T-shirt Art Painting Workshop by artist Tanya Woodley and her friend Donna Skuby at "Art of the T-shirt" exhibits

The T-shirt art painting workshop took place at the Edgewater Library on June 27th. Tanya and Donna have taught art classes as volunteers in the public schools in their Southside neighborhood for years. They also gather donations of coats and shoes for needy children every fall. These two women have so much heart we are thrilled to solute them for their efforts in support of the "Art of the T-shirt" but also for the work they do in their own community. The Art of the T-shirt draws artists from all Chicago's communities. Tanya is on the far right standing, explaining the workshop to the libraries security guard who expressed excitement about starting an "Art of the T-shirt" exhibit in her own neighborhood library.
