The purpose of the Native American Heritage Perspective is to educate and help students to develop a sense of appreciation for Mother Earth, and for the unique Native American Heritage of this country.

Classroom / School / College / Organizational Presentations The Grandfather Drum is central to the cultural presentation, and Fancy War Dance Regalia will be on display as well as many other authentic cultural items. Singing, drumming, and storytelling will provide an educational and entertaining experience for the students.

Mr. Lockwood has worked as the Cultural Program Aide for the American Indian Center of Chicago, and has worked in Indian Education since 1989 for various tribal schools and Title VII Indian Education Programs. he is also the recipient of a 2003 Quad City Arts "Individual Artist" Grant.
