Lisa's Comments
When I was three years old, I saw Liberace playing piano on TV, and decided that that was exactly what I wanted to do. Not just to play piano, but to play piano on TV. My parents very quickly got me the piano I begged for, and I bashed around on that Wurlitzer until I began lessons at age five. They continued for twelve years.

I did the whole school chorus/church choir thing, and -- you don't care about that, right? Good. By the age of 16, I was playing in bars, VFW halls, and street fairs around Streator, Illinois with a cover band called Apyron.

Over the past thirteen years, I have performed in various bands that I won't mention here since you've never heard of them anyway. G-Men was my first original effort, formed circa 1991. We were very crunchy, guitar-based post-punk noise with lots of screaming. After three years of playing clubs and colleges in the Midwest, two cassettes, and one CD, G-Men came to an end when I became interested in performing the more melodic, atmospheric material you'll hear on I'll Send an Angel.
