Natural Colors by Louis "Sid" Pena

Artist's Statement
I've been working with computer
graphics since 1993 when I purchased an old 386 running the GEOS
O/S. I immediately recognized the potential for artistic expression
through the digital medium. I've taught myself how to use PhotoShop, Painter,
Illustrator, Bryce,
Freehand, Premiere,
Poser and plug in
filters too numerous to mention. I hope to become nationally
recognized by creating original artwork for CD covers and science-fiction
books and magazines. In the mean time I keep busy by working
on my art, working a full-time job and going to A.C.C. for my
degree in visual arts specializing in computer graphics.
I've called Austin
Texas home since 1983 but my hometown is Pasadena
Texas. Stevie
Ray Vaughan is my favorite musician. I like hanging out at
Waterloo Brewing Company,
The
Dog and Duck Pub and Opal Divine's Freehouse when I'm not
behind the computer. So, if you're ever in town and want to give
me a super lucrative art deal look me up. You can contact me
