Artist's Statement I refer to myself as ISZ, a pseudonym signifying a simple/complex statement of mental, physical and spiritual existence. However, more important than the name is the philosophy of oneness it represents. This oneness is the focus of my creativity but it is the lack of oneness in global society that is the inspiration behind my creations. To be more specific my inspiration comes from a void, an emptiness in the human experience that compels me to fill it. To fill it I create visual aids, reminders that we are one family in a vast universe; a universe beckoning us to explore and understand it. Success in this task will be achieved only when we realize that we must care for and share in the one family experience. Hopefully through this shared experience the human family will move one step closer to its full pote4ntial. My creations are this message. I work/play in a variety of media always looking for and adding to the list of items used in the creative process. Execution of each work is done with a meticulous eye to detail but with a childlike sense of imagery. Childlike so as to nurture and sustain the child in us all.
