Stomp Out Racism by Dean Teniswood

Artist's Statement
The reason i created this design and slogan
was my thought in this day and age we should not have
to tolerate any form of racism any longer. It is time
to "STAMP OUT" this from our society. Hence my design.
Thank you for the opportunity to express the issue
through design and i hope to hear from you soon.
Dean Teniswood.
Australia.
I have recently finished a graphic design course and now
i am working as a freelance designer. I like to incorporate illustration and
other hands on art techniques into my computer designs to eliminate
the artificial look of the computer and create work that has feeling in it.
I originally studied drawing and painting and did not want to let that go to
waste when i began using computers for finished art.
As the old saying goes "a picture says a thousand words" and i believe the
use of a strong graphic attracts a wider audience and promotes an artists
message the fastest and strongest way possible.
Thank you again for the opportunity to show you my work.

"...In a society as thoroughly and violently racialized as the United States, white-Black relations have defined racism for centuries. Today the composition and culture of the U.S. are changing rapidly. We need to consider seriously whether we can afford to maintain an exclusively white/Black model of racism when the population will be 32 percent Latino, Asian/Pacific American and Native American--in short, neither Black nor white--by the year 2050." ...
