Artist's Statement

Bio: I have been drawing since I was little. I am now in
high school, hopefully in college I will major in art.
I entered this contest as a way encourage diversity.

Everyone is different, it is how this difference is
treated that is the problem. Skin color really doesn't
and shouldn't matter. Everyone is not the same and we
should acknowledge and celebrate diversity. We are all
humans that live on this planet. I remember in one of
my classes, a poster said,

Different
Individuals
Valuing
Each other
Regardless of
Skin
Intellect
Talents or
Years
