Artist's Statement

I would like to submmit my piece for your website. I have no interest in making money from my art, my many objective is to inspire people to bring down the mental barriers which hender humanity, like racism, regilion, politics, money, etc.

Although the peice doesn't focus purely on racism, I feel that racism is the icing on the cake. To truly eradicate racism we must allow the indidvidual to discover what it really is, nothing.

I hope enjoy the piece.

Title Piece - Life of Species 'A'
The life of Species 'A' focuses on the fundamental things in our life the things that really matter: birth, growing up, survival, Death in the family, the birth of our own children and eventually our own death. And tries to make the comparison with the excuses we make to fight one another i.e. religion, race, financial status, appearance etc. The conclusion is we all have the same fundamental things that go on in our lives, the only reason why we think we are different is because we believe we are.

Bio - Mario Roberts
My past is not important it is what I do in the future that really counts. Through my art I want to educate and inspire youth of the future to think 'what if we created a world with no barriers?'

The strange thing is it is easy and difficult to accomplish. Easy because our world doesn't really have any barriers. Difficult because the barriers that exist are the ones we created and have been passed down from generation after generation keeping the fantasy of these barriers alive.

Does the colour of a person's skin really mean anything? Can you really kill someone in the belief of 'Thou shall not kill'? Do the borders of a country really exist?

Is nudity a crime we commit or is it what we are truly? Are people's lives worth more than printed paper?
