Artist's Bio

My name is Amber Vittoria, and I am currently a high school student residing in New York. My passion is art, and hopefully in college, I will major in fine art and (fashion) photography. When I found out about this competition, I thought it was a great way to promote pro-diversity.

My entry discusses individuality and how even though the mind is accepted in individualism (literally, because the letters m-i-n-d are in the word individualism), individualism is not accepted in the mind. People today are not open to accepting people who are different and unique; everyone has to be "normal." However, there is no such thing as "normal."
