Humanity Tree

Humanity Tree by Terri deFriess

Artist's Statement
My work is an exploration of the basic elements: color, form space, line, value, and texture. I love nature and enjoying expressing this through my art. Balance, rhythm, and variety are all aspects that I try to achieve in my paintings. Many of the forms I choose can represent different ideas to the individual viewer.

In Humanity Tree, the tree does not care about what size, shape, or color, its leaves; it only knows that without the leaves, the tree could not have life.
