Harmony by Linda R. Bouaban

Artist's Statement
This creation was inspired by the idea of being free. The image of a butterfly under a foot; the butterfly is unable to fly freely, and the footprint is stepping off of the butterfly. Hence, a step towards freedom. I think this simple and unique design portrays a powerful image in which I hope people can sense an essence of freedom. The ablitity to allow everyone to live without persecution, is the beginning of harmony.

My name is Linda Bouaban, I am a mechanical engineering student at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. I have enjoyed creating art my whole life, and I hope that everyone who sees this image finds it tasteful and thought evoking.
