Peace by Marina Triener

Peace by Marina Triener

Artist's Statement
My name is Marina Triener. I am 14, and I was born in Russia. I always loved
art and drawing. I used to live in Israel (I moved there when I was 2), and there
I went to an art school. We learned a lot about of art and sculpture. I think art
is a very interesting way to express yourself and show the world your views about
different issues. It is also a great way to relieve stress and to show our creative
side. I like to draw for fun, and today I am taking private art lessons. I also like
to sing, and write poetry and lyrics. I myself am from different backrounds and religions
and have a lot of different friends from all the countries in the world. I hope that
one day we all can get along:):). This contest shows how we use art to express views
on issues (like racism).
