Stop Racism by Michelle Williams

Artist's Statement
My name is Michelle Williams. When I graduated from high school in Dublin,
Ohio, I knew there was only one place I wanted to go.....LA. So, I found a
Graphic Design school in Long Beach and decided to sell out. Fine art is my
love and I always wanted to be a starving artist but design gave me a great
way to make money and do what I wanted! I graduated in May 2000 and found a
great job with an advertising agency. I was the art director on the Netscape
campaign and did many different designs for other clients. In December, our
biggest client cut their budget and I was let go! Now I am trying to find a
new job in a very saturated market. I love designing and helping make the
world a better place by stopping racism is a great way for my art to be heard
not only seen!
Thank you!
